After being away from the computer for awhile due to another move, I'm back
at it! Finished up the July Challenge despite having to upload half my July
photos after July was finished...

Not much going on photographically at the moment. I did get the opportunity to go
the Selfridge Air Show! The weather was not so good, but I did come away with 26
photos that I believe are worth posting here, so watch for those!
The USAF Thunderbirds performed their flat show. It was the first time I had seen
the Thunderbirds, and I was quite impressed. I wish the weather would have cooperated
a bit more so that my photos would have come out better. Trying to shoot fast moving
white planes on a light to medium gray background proved difficult for my camera's auto focus.

In other news:
I may be getting hired to shoot some family portraits for one of my Mom's co-workers.
I'm hesitantly-excited about this. I've never shot people before, and I want it all to work out
right. I need some suggestions from those out there that have done portrait work!!!
As far as I know, this will be an out door shoot, mostly because I have no access to any
type of studio. Any advice anyone can give about taking photos of people would help greatly!
